Leather + Pine
Smells like: tanned leather / pine sap / amber / sandalwood
Inspired by coming of age in the Minnesota north woods, Leather + Pine was the candle that started it all and is still one of our all-time best sellers. A scent derived from experience, it is a pioneering blend of sticky, sweet, and savory notes. A scent that’ll wear in like your favorite pair of leather gloves.
Lumberjack
Smells like: fresh-cut cedar / leather / musk / juniper
This scent is a celebration of the cooler weather that comes in Autumn, accentuated by the familiarity of fresh-cut cedar, leather, and musk that’s lifted and carried by juniper and wood smoke. With a mellow dose of patchouli and amber, Lumberjack has all the broken-in comfort of a flannel shirt, and the warmth and satisfaction of a wooden pipe and a glass of whiskey beside the fireplace as night settles in after a crisp fall day.
Balsam Fir
Smells like: balsam / pine sap / juniper / cedar
A bright, evergreen winter scent reminiscent of sunlight glinting off of white snow. The woodland aroma of crisp balsam cedar and pine sap is intertwined with the soothing coolness of juniper berries and spruce needles to create a fragrance that’s both comforting and invigorating, festive enough to be the perfect holiday scent but fresh enough to enjoy as a year-round staple.
Yippee Ki-Yay
Smells like: smoked wood / honey / cedarwood / clove / rose
Designed in collaboration with drummer Jake Goss as a perfume and reinvented as a candle, Yippee Ki-Yay is infused with our Brooklyn-to-Bozeman urban cowboy sensibility; just as at-home on the ranch as it is in an East Village speakeasy. Notes of whiskey, tobacco, and tanned leather form a scent whose rich history tells the tale of a hardworking, hardwearing dude with a taste for the finer things.
Old Fashioned
Smells like: oak barrels / demerara sugar / lemon / orange
Our love letter to the classic cocktail: rich body, sweetness, citrus, charred oak. This candle smells like the process of crafting a perfect Old Fashioned; all there’s left to do is grab your Ranger glass and take a sip. Smells like your favorite cocktail bar.
-
The First Burn
-
The first burn is the most important. Make sure the melt pool reaches all sides of the candle before extinguishing otherwise tunneling can occur.
-
Subsequent Burns
-
Try to make a habit of letting the melt pool always reach the sides of the candle to ensure you capture the candles whole potential. Never exceed 4 hours of burning.
-
Trim Your Wicks
-
Always trim your wicks to 1/4" before every burn so that the candle does not burn faster than it should.
-
Candles To Cocktails
-
All of our 8 oz glass candles are hand poured into cocktail glasses. Here's how to transform them.
-
Place candle in freezer overnight.
-
Run hot tap water over wax to loosen and then remove with wooden utensil.
-
Remove wick tabs from base of glass (they may have come out with the wax already). If they do not remove easily, fill the glass with warm water and dish soap and let them soak.
-
Clean out glass with soap and water.
-
Pour your drink of choice and say 'cheers'.
